The scout sessions page provides an overview of all scout sessions conducted, both manually and through the Horiver Scanner. Scout sessions can be filtered by location and the person who conducted the scouting. Each scout session can be clicked to view session-specific information. Additionally, the date of the scout session can be adjusted afterward if needed. Observations per scout session can also be reviewed. Manual entry of scout sessions and importing scout sessions are available on this page. A template can be downloaded to see the required format for the file.
Select Location and Scout
Above the scout sessions, a drop-down allows choosing between Location and/or Scout. Click on the desired location and then on the preferred scout to view scout sessions at that location by that scout. To see only scout sessions from a specific location, leave the scout field empty. Conversely, leaving the location field empty shows only scout sessions from a particular scout.
Manual input
Clicking on +manual input allows for the manual input of scout sessions. In the subsequent menu, the location, department, scout, and scout date can be entered. Based on the greenhouse layout, locations on the Horiver maps can be clicked. Alternatively, values for pests, natural enemies, diseases, and pollination can be entered for all Horiver maps simultaneously using scout methods.
Import Scout Sessions
By clicking "Import Scout Session," scout sessions can be imported through an Excel file. A template can be downloaded to determine the Excel file's required format for successful upload. Note that only correctly filled templates can be uploaded. Use the "Select File" button to import a file from the computer. After selecting the file, click "Import Scout Data" to read the file. The scout sessions from the file will then be visible in the scout session overview.
View Scout Sessions
Clicking on a scout session in the overview allows viewing information about the session and the observations made during the session.
Session
Clicking on "Session" displays information about the session, including location, department, scout, source, number of observations, and the date of the scout session. Afterward, the button under "Replace Maps" can be used to indicate whether the Horiver maps should be replaced after this scout session.
Observations
Clicking on "Observations" displays the greenhouse layout with Horiver maps. Each Horiver map shows colors corresponding to natural enemies, pests, diseases, and pollination, indicating the observed quantities. Hovering over a Horiver map with the mouse displays the values per Horiver map. By clicking on a Horiver map, the values per map can be reviewed and adjusted if applicable. Clicking the "Compact View" button in the top right switches between a view showing only rows with a Horiver map and a view showing all rows.
By clicking the pencil icon in the top right , the date of the scout session can be adjusted.
