The next step is to create one or more locations. The grower fills in the "Business location name, address, postal code, city, and country". Here, there is also an option to choose "All departments of this location have the same crop, scout preferences, and threshold values". Additional information about this option can be found by clicking on the link mentioned under this option. Please note that when this option is chosen, it cannot be changed after the location is created. The location will appear in the "Locations" menu in the right menu of the dashboard after creation.
Location details
Fill in the requested fields for the location details. Note that if an outdoor department is added to this location, satellite images will be shown of the address entered in the Address field when creating the location
All departments of this location have the same crop, scout preferences, and threshold values
As a last option, the checkbox "All departments of this location have the same crop, scout preferences, and threshold values" can be selected. Only check this option if all crops in all departments falling under this location are the same. This includes future departments that may be added later. Note that once this option is checked and the location is created, it cannot be changed later. This option ensures that all templates for scout preferences and threshold values are linked. If a scout preference is added or modified in one department, it automatically applies to all departments. Therefore, only select this option if it is certain that all crops will be the same.
